Carbon Spinnaker Poles

Hall carbon-fiber poles are manufactured using the same aerospace-quality, seamless construction process as our extraordinary masts and booms. Each pole is custom molded on a male mandrel then autoclave-cured to eliminate voids. Hall uses unidirectional, pre-preg fiber for the pole's structure, resulting in maximum strength at minimum weight.

Hall Spars & Rigging spinnaker poles are made for intense sailing. Hall poles save weight on deck, are easier to handle (half the weight of aluminum), and are incredibly tough. Kevlar in key areas protects the carbon from chafe.

Spinnaker Poles - Ready to Sail

Dip-Pole

Complete with Hall QuikTrip outboard end, QuikConnect inboard end. Clear-coated carbon tube, internal Swiftcord trip line. For symmetric spinnakers.

Pole Diameters
3.0 (outboard end tapered)
3.5 (outboard end tapered)
4.0 (outboard end tapered)
4.5 (outboard end tapered)

End-for-End

Clear-coated carbon tube, QuikTrip fitting at each end, single trip line, Spectra double bridle. For symmetric spinnakers.

Pole Diameters
3.0 (no taper)
3.5 (no taper)
4.0 (no taper)
Larger sizes available on request.

Asymmetric Sails

If you plan to fly an asymmetric, you need a purpose-built pole that can handle the higher loads of this specialized sail. Lengths and weights depend upon the sail area. A double-tapered tube with Hall "Turbo" end fittings, suitable for boats 50' LOA and larger, is also available. Call us for pole diameters and weights.

Specialty Poles

Reaching Strut

The reaching strut is set perpendicular to the mast to hold the afterguy away from the shrouds on a tight reach. If you fly an asymmetric from an extra-long pole, the reaching strut will give you a better angle for trimming the guy. A reaching strut requires hardware on the inboard end and possibly on the mast; the outboard end is molded carbon. Call us for details.

Tubes For Asymmetric Sails

A stronger tube is required for an asymmetric sail; diameters and tapers will vary. Our special double-tapered tube is available for boats over 50 feet LOA. Call for diameters and weights.

Protect your pole with Alwgrip coatings. Available in UV inhibiting clear or tinted paint (faired/painted with seven-step system). Call for colors.
